In accordance with the Town of Kiawah Island Short Term Rental Ordinance, all guests understand that the approved number of bedrooms is 3, the maximum allowed occupancy is 8, and the maximum allowed number of vehicles is 3.
This semi-detached home, located in Vanderhorst Plantation, looks onto the 13th hole of the Jack Nicklaus-designed Turtle Point Golf Course. Guests have access to the seasonal community pool, which is adjacent to the property.
As of Fall 2023, this home has all new appliances, 4 new Smart TVs, a new wifi router, and a new thermostat.
When you enter the home, the dining room, kitchen, main living space, and master suite are on the entry-level floor. The relaxing living room features comfortable sofas, chairs, an electric fireplace with a heater, and a 65” flat-screen TV. The living room also has games and speakers for additional entertainment, and it opens to a deck off the side of the home. The dining room offers a large table with plenty of seating. The fully equipped kitchen showcases cabinetry, beautiful countertops, new stainless steel appliances, and a bar that connects the kitchen to the dining room.
Down the hall from the living room is the soothing primary suite, boasting a king-sized bed, a sitting area, and a flat-screen TV. The primary suite has a large private bathroom with double sinks and a spacious shower.
Ascend the stairs to the second floor and you are greeted by a hallway that provides access to a screened porch on the front of the house. There are two bedrooms and two bathrooms on the second floor. The first bedroom features two queen-sized beds, a TV, private balcony, and a connected bathroom with two sinks, a walk-in shower, and tub. The second bedroom has one king bed, a TV, and a bathroom with a walk-in shower.
The shared back deck features an array of chairs for stretching out and lounging or congregating around the gas grill for a nice meal. The large table has seating for six and an umbrella for shade. The deck overlooks the golf course just past the backyard of the home.
The home is conveniently located next to the neighborhood pool (open seasonally). The home boasts an ideal central location near golf, tennis, bike trails, and Night Heron Park. Ten miles of beach are a short walk or bike ride along the golf course.
Guests have access to one side of the two-car garage. The garage has a ping pong table, game table and chairs, and a dart board. There is also a full-size refrigerator for additional food and beverage storage.
The home is equipped with washer, dryer, and high-speed wireless internet.
Guest reservations of 3 to 21 nights come with a valuable credit to use towards beach gear rentals during your stay! The credit amount for this property is $250. You may use your credit for bicycles, beach chairs and umbrellas, beach carts, kayaks, and more – the choice is yours!
During your stay on Kiawah Island, be sure to enjoy biking on the 30 miles of flat bike trails, golfing on one of five world-class courses, playing tennis, crabbing, fishing, swimming, and boating. Many families also enjoy the kids’ camp and nature programs at Night Heron Park.
Kiawah Island is about 40 minutes from historic Charleston, famous for incredible shopping, galleries, antique stores, museums, the South Carolina Aquarium, horse-drawn carriage rides, historic landmarks, and sumptuous dining.
