Captured By Kate is a team of three candid lifestyle photographers. Lead photographer Kate Thornton has been photographing families in downtown Charleston, the Isle of Palms, Kiawah Island, and Folly Beach for 20 years. Their portrait sittings start posed and get more candid at the end. They like to start with the whole group together then subgroups and individual portraits.
