The Children’s Museum of the Lowcountry is a non-profit organization whose mission is to "engage young children’s potential by inviting families of all backgrounds to explore environments and experiences that spark imagination and stimulate curiosity through the power of PLAY."

The Museum features 8 hands-on interactive areas that are sure to keep your kids entertained for hours. The museum is self-guided and encourages family interaction and imagination. The interactive zones include:

- Kids’ garden - complete with 7 different organic beds
- Air air everywhere - learn how to suspend light-weight spheres in mid-air
