Description

Take advantage of special beach gear and bike credit! This Kiawah Island vacation rental, located in the desirable Egret Pintail community, offers 4 bedrooms, a private pool, and views of Osprey Point golf course and Egret Pond. The home is about a 12-minute bike ride to the beach.

When you enter this home, you will immediately appreciate the abundance of natural light and professionally selected décor. Like almost every rear-facing room in the home, the living area boasts lovely views of the golf course and Egret Pond. The living room has comfortable seating and spills out into the dining area and kitchen. The dining area features a gorgeous table with seating for eight and access to the screened porch. The gourmet kitchen has a large island with barstool seating for four, professional-grade stainless steel appliances, and everything you will need to prepare your vacation meals.

The master suite, located on the main floor, features a king-sized bed, TV, access to the sundeck, and a luxurious private bathroom with a free-standing tub, spacious walk-in shower, and his-and-hers sinks. Upstairs, you will find three additional bedrooms. The first bedroom offers a king-sized bed, TV, chic coastal décor, and a private bathroom with a walk-in shower. The second upstairs bedroom has a queen-sized bed, TV, and private bathroom with a walk-in shower. The final bedroom has two twin beds, gorgeous views of the water, a TV, and a private bathroom with a shower/tub combo.

The screened-in porch offers seating for four, a wall-mounted TV, and access to the deck. Enjoy lounging on the 900-square-foot sundeck or take a dip in the waterside pool! The deck area features plenty of seating for lounging and dining.

The home is equipped with washer, dryer, and high-speed wireless internet.

This pool has a gas heater, so the pool may be heated in cooler months for $75/per day for the entire stay. It can take 24-48 hours for the pool water to reach the optimal temperature of 85-87 degrees. When the air temperature falls below 55 degrees, typically November-March, pool heaters have difficulty achieving the optimal temperature. In this case, pool heating will not be available.

Guest reservations of 3 to 21 nights come with a valuable credit to use towards beach gear rentals during your stay! The credit amount for this property is $300. You may use your credit for bicycles, beach chairs and umbrellas, beach carts, and more – the choice is yours!

During your stay on Kiawah Island, be sure to enjoy biking on the 30 miles of flat bike trails, golfing on one of five world-class courses, playing tennis, crabbing, fishing, swimming, and boating. Many families also enjoy the kids’ camp and nature programs at Night Heron Park.

Kiawah Island is about 40 minutes from historic Charleston, famous for incredible shopping, galleries, antique stores, museums, the South Carolina Aquarium, horse-drawn carriage rides, historic landmarks, and sumptuous dining.

RESERVATION PROCESS: Your reservation is not confirmed until you return the Akers Ellis Rental Agreement. This document will be sent to you via email within a few hours of making your reservation. You need to review and electronically fill out, sign, and submit the agreement within 24 hours. Once returned, Akers Ellis will collect payment and send you a reservation confirmation via email.

Kiawah is a magical place

Kiawah is a magical place, and this stay fit the dream! Beautiful view of the 2nd hole at osprey point where you can heckle to your hearts content, or walk to your tee time. Will be back in the future!

Photos did not do it justice!

Traveled for a 6-night vacation with seven adults and one infant. House was large, very comfortable, and extremely well-equipped - photos did not do it justice. Beds were comfortable, and we loved that each bedroom had a separate en-suite bathroom with plenty of closet space. Property was well located on the further end of Kiawah Island (close to the Ocean course), but surrounded by bike trails in a quiet neighborhood. Check-in/check-out process was extremely easy, and Akers-Ellis was extremely responsive to questions and requests. Enjoyed all of the restaurants and proximity to Fresh Fields, with lots of shopping, food, and a grocery store. We will be back!

Beautiful Modern Luxury

We've stayed in at least 6 different properties on Kiawah over the years, and have enjoyed every one. 542 Bufflehead was our favorite by far. It's modern, new, clean, and offers a gorgeous view of the No. 2 hole on Osprey Point. The pool area is just the right size for outdoor gathering, and the small semi-private area off the first floor master bedroom is perfect for coffee (before the grandkids wake up). The kitchen is well outfitted with most of what you'll need to prepare meals, snacks or cocktails. The one concern we had before we arrived was the distance to the beach access - but we found that wasn't a concern at all. We rented bikes for everyone, and the access point was just a 5 to 10 minute ride away. We had room for everyone in our group: my wife and me, or two children and their spouses, and all three of our grandkids. The four bedrooms - each with their on attached bathroom - offered enough privacy for all. This is a great property, and we will stay here again if we're visiting Kiawah with our family.

Nice newer home

This newer home is well stocked and decorated very well. There are a few minor issues that need to be addressed but otherwise furnishings and amenities are great. Outside areas, pool, and ping pong table in basement provided much fun. The walk/bike ride to the beach was a bit long for the younger children in our group.
