Johns Island Breweries
1. Low Tide Brewing: “Drink Fresh – Drink Local” This is a great local brewery in the perfect location for Kiawah Island guests! Dog-friendly and kid-friendly, there is both indoor and outdoor seating for everyone to gather around.
James Island Breweries
2. Tradesman Brewing: Founded by a husband and wife team, this is the first brewery on James Island. Food trucks, outdoor patio, and kid friendly!
3. Fam’s Brewhouse Co.: Pizza + Beer. Need we say more?
West Ashley Breweries
4. Frothy Beard Company: For $15 per person, you can take a brewery tour! The price includes a private tour with a brewery owner and beer sampling for those 21+. They just ask that you request your tour time at least one day in advance.
5. Charles Towne Fermentory: Small neighborhood brewery located in the heart of Avondale in the West Ashley area. Their taproom houses a small open-kitchen featuring a rotating lineup of local chefs, restaurants, caterers, and purveyors.
6. Craft Conundrum: It’s not a brewery, but it has craft beers from all over!
Downtown Charleston Breweries
7. Revelry Brewing Co.: Rev·el·ry: n. boisterous festivities, while enjoying craft beer. P.S. They have a full sushi menu, as well as an Asian and a Latin-inspired menu!
8. The Hold by Revelry Brewing Co.: A hidden gem that has a sour beer tasting room!
9. Palmetto Brewing Co.: Open 7 days a week!
10. Lo-Fi Brewing: Let’s just say, they have the BEST blueberry beer – if you’re into that sort of thing. Glitter unicorn beer, anyone?
11. Cooper River Brewing Co.: Comfortable, relaxed, air-conditioned atmosphere inside and a large outdoor patio.
12. COAST Brewing Co.: Family owned craft brewery located on an old Navy Base. Uses local and choice organic ingredients!
13. Edmund’s Oast Brewing Co.: This production brewery and taproom/restaurant opened in late summer 2017. They will produce a variety of beers packaged in cans, bottles, and kegs for wide-reaching wholesale. Once in full operation, the brewery will sport over a dozen EOBC beers on tap and regularly can a number of offerings.

North Charleston Breweries
16. Holy City Brewing: The Holy City story is about a team of four guys dedicated to craft beer and their community, aiming to bring more of one to the other.
17. Freehouse Brewery: Inspired by their natural setting on the Ashley River in Charleston, SC, this brewery handmakes their brews using organic ingredients.
18. Rusty Bull Brewing Co.: Live music, food trucks, and events every Thursday-Saturday!
19. Commonhouse Aleworks: Located in the Park Circle area of North Charleston, this brewery strives to “Gather together for the common good.” In colonial times, the “common house” was the de facto “Town Hall.” Gather your friends and family!
20. Pawleys Island Brewing Company: Located at 2668 Industrial Ave, North Charleston, SC 29405, this brewery is kid friendly! They have a basketball hoop, chalk, and bags for adults and kids alike.
