Dana Santerre

Broker-in-Charge, CRB, RSPS, RENE

Born and raised in Traverse City, MI, Dana Santerre moved to the Lowcountry in 2000. She spent seven years in hospitality working for Bayshore Resort in Traverse City, MI, and for the Harbour View Inn in Charleston. Dana earned her associate degree in Legal Assisting from Trident Technical College. After nearly seven years as a litigation paralegal, she returned to hospitality and joined Akers Ellis in 2010. She obtained her Real Estate license in 2013 and Broker license in 2017. In 2018, Dana was promoted to Broker-in-Charge.  Additionally, Dana has received her real estate designations as a Certified Real Estate Brokerage Manager, Resort & Second-Home Property Specialist (RSPS), and Real Estate Negotiation Expert (RENE). She and her husband Travon live on James Island. Dana has participated in triathlons on Kiawah Island with the Akers Ellis team. She enjoys visiting her daughter in Clemson and watching her daughter perform with the Clemson University Drumline.
