Take advantage of special beach gear and bike credit! Within this island luxury retreat, you’ll be surrounded by Kiawah’s natural landscape. Centrally located on the island, this Kiawah Island home has 3 floors of indoor/outdoor living space, 4 bedrooms, 4.5 baths, 3-story elevator, game room with pool table, and access to the seasonal community pool, all within an 8 minute walk to the beach.

The private stone courtyard welcomes you to this island-style home, which features archways and hidden nooks, upgraded finishes, hardwood floors, vaulted ceilings, indoor/outdoor SONOS sound system with dedicated iPad, high speed WiFi, TVs throughout the home and Apple TV in the living room.

Located on the main/second floor, there is a large master suite with a king bed, ensuite bathroom and large walk-in closet. The contemporary great room features a living room, dining room, a gourmet kitchen with island and wine refrigerator. Natural sunlight streams through the great room within the canopy of trees, inviting you to the large screened in porch that is perfect for morning coffee or evening drinks. This level also has a powder room.

The third floor enjoys views of the natural surroundings with 3 guest bedrooms: a master suite with a king bed and ensuite bathroom, bedroom with 2 queen beds and ensuite bathroom, and bedroom with 2 twin beds (may be converted to a king bed at guest’s request) and ensuite bathroom. All bedrooms have wall mounted TVs. There is also a laundry room located on this floor.

The first floor's private courtyard includes a beautiful screened-in great room with sitting and dining areas. There is also a gas grill, SONOS speakers and TV. Adjacent to this space is the indoor game room with a pool table, 2 TVs, and daybed, perfect for games or a teen suite.

Guests have access to the community pool. This pool is unheated and open seasonally.

Guest reservations of 3 to 21 nights come with a valuable credit to use towards beach gear rentals during your stay! The credit amount for this property is $300. You may use your credit for bicycles, beach chairs and umbrellas, beach carts, kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, and more – the choice is yours!

Enjoy the 30 miles of flat bike trails, golfing on one of five world-class courses, playing tennis, crabbing, fishing, swimming, and boating. Many families also enjoy the kids’ camp and nature programs at Night Heron Park. Kiawah Island is about 40 minutes from historic Charleston, famous for incredible shopping, galleries, antique stores, museums, the South Carolina Aquarium, horse-drawn carriage rides, historic landmarks, and sumptuous dining.

Elevator is available for guest use.

RESERVATION PROCESS: Your reservation is not confirmed until you return the Akers Ellis Rental Agreement. This document will be sent to you via email within a few hours of making your reservation. You need to review and electronically fill out, sign, and submit the agreement within 24 hours. Once returned, Akers Ellis will collect payment and send you a reservation confirmation via email.

Fantastic home.

Fantastic home. Always easy to book with Akers Ellis. Location not far from Boardwalk 28 and a leisurely bike ride to Night Heron where our teen boys love to play pick-up basketball! I would definitely rent this lovely home again.

Wonderful

This was a wonderful property that my family enjoyed immensely. 5 stars for cleanliness, super well equipped and a terrific location. We utlized the services from Akers Ellis directory of VAYKGEAR(great property credit for rental) for bikes, BABYSAWAY and GROCERIESAHEAD and COASTAL LIMO. All were excellent. Akers Ellis staff were beyond excellent and responsive. We had the best vacation and look forward to returning!

Wonderful Stay on Kiawah Island

We had this rental for 5 nights. We were on Kiawah Island for our son's wedding. The setting there is magnificent and this house we rented was awesome !! Just the right size, had all the necessary amenities, well-stocked. The house was in perfect condition and very well suited to our family's needs. Akers Ellis provided quick responses to any questions we had during our stay. So I would highly recommend Akers Ellis as well as this particularly property. Could not have been happier with the entire process. It was about as close to perfect as one could imagine.

Better than expected

This was a very terrific rental property for my 10 family members. 5 minute bike ride to nearest beach access, and a small but very relaxing secluded neighborhood pool that was a great option when beach got too windy. The big open design of the main floor was perfect for inside entertaining and game play, and we spent some great relaxation time on the porch at the end of nearly every day. We would definitely go back to this property.

Outstanding House

The house was spacious, clean and in a great location on Kiawah Island! The only thing that was a struggle was the limit of 2 cars since we all came from different directions, we had 4 cars so had to park 2 cars at the Sanctuary.

great getaway nice home

Love Kiawah and the home was nicely appointed. Most everything met our expectations. Only wish the kitchen had more linen for use along with the bathrooms. All in all, had a great time and liked the home.

Staycation for 2 families

We had such a great time! They really did think of everything with this house. We did not need for anything. We loved that it was four bedrooms all with their own bath and tv. All of the beds were comfortable with fabulous bedding. Lots of attention to detail. Fully stocked kitchen! Would definitely stay here again and recommend this house.

Summer Fun!

Great House!

Our family of 8 stayed in the home which was very well appointed. Great TV's, sound system and comfortable beds. You won't be disappointed. Only downside is that it is a little bit of a hike to the beach.

Beautiful House!

This house was absolutely gorgeous. The outdoor spaces cannot be beat and the decor is fabulous. It is an HGTV styled home! Wish I could move in long term! The property manager was quick to respond to a couple small issues. Look forward to going back.

Beautiful House

Good Location

5518 Cypress is a beautiful home. The house was very clean and accommodating. We had a short bike ride to the beach and the pool was just a few steps away. The outdoor shower was also a very nice feature. The only small issue we ran in to was the elevator. It worked perfectly the first couple of days which was nice for luggage and groceries. After that, it seemed to get stuck easily so we didn't use it. I will also mention that it has a very small one car driveway. We had two large SUV's and one of us had to park along the street. The driveway also made it tricky to get bikes in and out. Other than that it was a nice week for us.

Thank you for your feedback. We are pleased you enjoyed your stay! We would be happy to take a look at the elevator and make sure everything is working properly. While this unit does only fit 2 normal sized cars/SUVs, we do not recommend parking on the street. The Town of Kiawah does not allow that and often gives out tickets.. Had we known you were having parking issues, we would have gladly came up with a plan B for you! Again, thanks for taking the time to let us know about your stay. Please let us know when you are ready to return to the island!

Family Vacation!

We loved staying in this home. It was clean, well supplied, and had plenty of room for a family of 10. Everyone was able to find a private area if they wanted, due to the porches, and great living areas. Private bathrooms for every group, as three families were staying together. We look forward to a return vacation in the future! The pool, used very little, became mostly "our own".

Family trip

We had a great stay in this home - very comfortable for our group of adult family members. We loved the common areas and each bedroom suite offered a lot of privacy. The home was spotless and well furnished. As always, Akers Ellis was fantastic to work with! Reservation and check in processes could not be easier. They are unbelievably responsive before, during and after the stay. And two minor issues we had were dealt with immediately - with personal follow up to make sure we were satisfied. Weve rented from a few other agencies over the years and have found Akers Ellis to be the most customer oriented.

Amazing House for a group

This house was awesome. There is plenty of room for a big group of people to have their own rooms and bathrooms.

The house is about 5 minute bike ride to beach. Highly recommend renting bikes to get around the island.

The porch was our favorite place to hang out.

Great Location In New Home

Second family vacation in this new home... beautifully decorated, organized and spotless. Enjoyed cooking in the kitchen, hanging out on the porches, and the kids had their own hang out area in the game room. Lots of space for everyone. Elevator great, music system added fun, and the pool was really nice. We had a quick walk/bike ride to the beach, The Sanctuary, and Night Heron Park for our kids. Also, location was great for driving off the island to restaurants and shopping.

Perfect Home for Girls Trip

Girls trip was perfect in February. Each of us had our own bedroom with bathroom. Plenty of room in the house for relaxing. New community and very private. Biked to nearby Sanctuary Hotel for spa days and nightly dinners. Also, walked to nearby Roy Barth Tennis Center for classes each day. Even biked to the Ryder Cup for a late afternoon cocktail! Best place we’ve stayed, new and clean place. Lots to do nearby to the home.

Great Place

This was a great house, very well appointed. High end everything made for a comfortable stay. The home was clean and well maintained and the neighborhood pool was like our own private oasis. Beautiful Home...
