Description

Take advantage of special beach gear and bike credit! This Kiawah Island vacation rental is ideal for families and features 3 bedrooms, a sunroom, and a 7-minute walk to the beach. The cottage is shaded by live oaks and palmetto trees, setting a relaxing tone for your stay, yet is close to the beach and Night Heron Park.

The welcoming front porch encourages you to kick back and soak in the island beauty and breeze. The living area offers comfortable furnishings and opens to the sunroom. Adjacent to the kitchen, the dining area offers seating for six people. The fully equipped kitchen includes an additional table that seats four people.

The master suite offers a king bed, private bath, flat screen television and access to the back deck. Two additional bedrooms – one with a king bed and another with a twin over queen bunk bed and flat screen television – share a hall bathroom.

The sunroom provides an additional sitting area with a sofa and accesses the back deck. The back deck offers seating for 2 and is the perfect place to relax and enjoy nature. Covered parking is available beneath the cottage.

The cottage is equipped with washer, dryer, and high-speed wireless internet.

During your stay on Kiawah Island, be sure to enjoy biking on the 30 miles of flat bike trails, golfing on one of five world-class courses, playing tennis, crabbing, fishing, swimming, and boating. Many families also enjoy the kids’ camp and nature programs at Night Heron Park.

Kiawah Island is about 40 minutes from historic Charleston, famous for incredible shopping, galleries, antique stores, museums, the South Carolina Aquarium, horse-drawn carriage rides, historic landmarks, and sumptuous dining.

Guest reservations of 3 to 21 nights come with a valuable credit to use towards beach gear rentals during your stay! The credit amount for this property is $250. You may use your credit for bicycles, beach chairs and umbrellas, beach carts, kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, and more – the choice is yours!

RESERVATION PROCESS: Your reservation is not confirmed until you return the Akers Ellis Rental Agreement. This document will be sent to you via email within a few hours of making your reservation. You need to review and electronically fill out, sign, and submit the agreement within 24 hours. Once returned, Akers Ellis will collect payment and send you a reservation confirmation via email.

Simply Magical

We had an incredible stay in the Aker Ellis property in Night Heron Cottages! We absolutely loved the home - it was perfect for our family of 5 with 3 young kids. The beds were so comfortable, the kitchen was perfectly stocked and we LOVED the proximity to the park, nature center and beach. The customer service from Akers Ellis was phenomenal. We left something behind and they have been nothing short of amazing helping us. We will definitely be back and are already planning our next stay! Kiawah is simply magical!

We can’t wait to go back!

We had a great time in Kiawah. The house came with a rental credit which was great for renting additional bikes, beach chairs, etc. We loved being able to park the car and ride our bikes just about everywhere we wanted to go. The proximity to the Nigh Heron Nature center was a bonus and we enjoyed several outdoor activities there. We can’t wait to go back!

Excellent accommodation!

Great stay

Kiawah paradise

Our family has been coming to Kiawah for over 30 years. We have stayed in many Night Heron Cottages throughout the years. This cottage was one of the nicest places we gave stayed in. It was nicely decorated. The kitchen was well-stocked. I hope it will be available when we come back again.

Wonderful Stay

Nice vacation home, excellent service from Akers Ellis

The house totally fit my needs. I had a few friends visit and the guest accommodations were great. I loved having Night Heron park on both ends of the street. The grounds on Kiawah Is. are natural and soothing.

Wonderful cottage!

What a lovely cottage to spend a long weekend in!! Access to the beach is super easy. The central location on the Island makes it nice to get around. The layout was perfect for us, with plenty of space for everyone. The master bed slept so comfortably and the kitchen had everything we needed.

Another Wonderful Stay!

This was our 3rd year staying at 4170 Night Heron and it never disappoints! Great location and well-maintained. Love the open floor plan, dining room, living room, and sunroom offer so many gathering spaces. It seemed that there were fewer kitchen items and towels/wash clothes this visit, but other than that, the unit provided ample space for 3 adults and 3 kids. We love being adjacent to Night Heron Park and minutes from beach access.

Kiawah family vacation

We have been vacationing on Kiawah for 30+ years. We enjoyed our stay at Night Heron cottage. Akers Ellis was very accommodating...before and during our stay. Very easy to work with. Agents were very kind. We had an issue with the dishwasher and it was addressed quickly.

Nice Beach Cottage

Overall, we were happy with our stay. The cottage was clean and very convenient to all that we wanted to do (ride bikes on the beach and to Freshfields Village; walk to and on the beach; nice to be so close to Night Heron Park if you have kids). Only a few minor suggestions: cooking supplies could use updating or replenishing, such as a large pasta pot for lasagna or lowcounty boil; add a DVD player to one of the bedrooms or living room for rainy days with young children; and add ESPN to your basic cable package during college football season. Again, all minor and certainly did not stop us from enjoying our time on Kiawah. The beds are all very comfortable with nice linens and plenty of bath towels. We had plenty of room even with three teenagers. Kiawah never disappoints!

Great Stay!

The cottage is perfectly situated. I actually own one of the cottages a few doors down and we routinely rent when we have over flow guests. The cottage is well maintained and the upgrades are very nice. The management company is very easy to work with and very accommodating to our needs. Would recommend!
