Description

Take advantage of special beach gear and bike credit! This recently renovated Kiawah Island vacation rental offers six bedrooms, a private pool, and lovely lagoon views. Situated on a quiet cul-de-sac in Kiawah's Vanderhorst section, this beautiful and spacious home is adjacent to the bike path for easy access to the beach. The home is about an 8-minute bike ride from the beach.

The main floor includes the living room, dining room, sunroom, kitchen, and access to the pool deck. Accentuated by soaring ceilings, the living room offers comfortable seating and an adjacent light-filled sunroom. Guests will love cooking in the recently renovated kitchen with its high-end appliances, two center islands, and ample barstool seating. The dining room is conveniently located off the kitchen for easy meal prep and entertaining.

On the main floor, you will find four of the home's six bedrooms. The first, a luxurious primary suite, features a king-sized bed, a TV, and a beautifully renovated private bathroom. Spa-like and serene, the bathroom offers a free-standing tub, a spacious walk-in shower, and a dual-sink vanity. Three additional bedrooms each have their own bathroom. Two bedrooms have a queen-sized bed, and one bedroom has two twin beds. Ascend the stairs to reach the second floor, complete with two bedrooms, a game room, a balcony, and a second living area. Two bedrooms – one king bedroom with a sitting area and one bedroom with a twin over full bunk bed and one full bed – share a bathroom. The game room features a pool table, a sitting area with a TV, and a bar area.

Step outside to enjoy the home's beautiful private pool. The pool deck spans the length of the house and offers plenty of space to lounge. Whether you want to cool off in the pool, bask in the beautiful setting, or enjoy al fresco dining, the back deck perfectly complements the home.

The home is equipped with washer, dryer, and high-speed wireless internet. Guests do not have access to the garage.

This pool cannot be heated.

The dimensions of the pool are 10' W x 25' L.

Guest reservations of 3 to 21 nights come with a valuable credit to use towards beach gear rentals during your stay! The credit amount for this property is $400. You may use your credit for bicycles, beach chairs and umbrellas, beach carts, kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, and more – the choice is yours!

During your stay on Kiawah Island, be sure to enjoy biking on the 30 miles of flat bike trails, golfing on one of five world-class courses, playing tennis, crabbing, fishing, swimming, and boating. Many families also enjoy the kids’ camp and nature programs at Night Heron Park.

Kiawah Island is about 40 minutes from historic Charleston, famous for incredible shopping, galleries, antique stores, museums, the South Carolina Aquarium, horse-drawn carriage rides, historic landmarks, and sumptuous dining.

RESERVATION PROCESS: Your reservation is not confirmed until you return the Akers Ellis Rental Agreement. This document will be sent to you via email within a few hours of making your reservation. You need to review and electronically fill out, sign, and submit the agreement within 24 hours. Once returned, Akers Ellis will collect payment and send you a reservation confirmation via email.

Wonderful place to spend a week

This house had everything you need to make beach fun and less stressful- there was enough glassware, cooking pots to help make wonderful meals. Also helped to have starter packs of soap. House was such a wonderful place to spend a week- we will be back!

One of our favorites

We’ve been coming to Kiawah for 40+ years and this house was one our absolute favorites. Such a wonderful open space and plenty of room for our kids and grandkids. We hope to be back next summer!

Wonderful house

Heavenly !

great multigenerational get together

We had a wonderful long weekend at this house with 8 adults and 5 children across three generations. The house was clean, very well appointed and roomy enough for our large family. Rental from Akers-Ellis was smooth and they were very responsive to questions. We particularly enjoyed watching the birds come and go from the lake at the back of the property. A gem.

Beautiful home !!

Spacious home with pool

Thoroughly enjoyed our annual week long stay with 8 adults and 6 children, 6 and under! We have vacationed on Kiawah for years and this house was one of our favorites! It was spacious, clean and well maintained with the exception of a broken small refrigerator upstairs. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen, splashing in the pool and watching for alligators, deer and other wildlife. The walk to the beach was a little long for our small ones, but is easy biking for adults and older children. Loved the beach gear credit! We'll be back!

Yellow throat

We had a great vacation at the yellow throat property. The house was beautiful. The pool and deck was great. Just a short ride to the beach on the bikes. We also got nine of our bikes at no additional cost with the VayK gear. I would highly recommend this property and will be visiting again

I will be back

I have stayed in many Kiawah homes, some more expensive, but this is my favorite. Lovely open home, sunroom is fabulous. Very comfortable bedrooms, huge refrigerator (so often the frig is small for the house, great nature views. Located right on the bike trail it is 5 minute bike to beach which my kids loved. The pool is simple but nice and located adjacent to the kitchen so you can keep an eye on the kids and the decks are large. I would definitely be back to YellowThroat.

Everybody's Happy

Fourteen of us (three generations) were charmed and giddy about everything this home had to offer. We had a three acre pond less than a hundred yards from our back patio. In the morning a variety of sea birds flew in and out of the pond. We were a ten minute bicycle ride from the beach on trails that meandered though lush, natural vegetation. Our first visit to Kiawah won't be our last.
