This beautiful custom-built Kiawah Island vacation rental features 4 bedrooms, a media room, and a private pool. Located on the desirable street of Surfsong, the beach is a short 7-10 minute walk away.

This home showcases luxurious finishes, including gorgeous hardwood flooring, custom tile, and shiplap siding. You are immediately drawn to the great room with a wall of windows, accentuating the pool and fairway view. The open great room offers comfortable seating with couches and chairs as well as a large wall-mounted flat-screen TV and games for entertainment. Just off the great room is the sunroom, complete with a couch, three chairs, and access to the deck and pool. The dining room features a long table with seating for ten. The gourmet kitchen is highlighted by custom cabinetry, granite countertops, gas range, double ovens, and a large island with bar stool seating for four.

The master suite features a king bed, cozy side chair, wall-mounted flat-screen TV, and access to its private balcony. Its spacious en suite bathroom offer double sink vanities, large shower with steam shower feature, and deep soaking bathtub. Ascend the stairs to the second floor, which features three bedrooms and bathrooms as well as a media room. The bunk room, offering two sets of bunk beds, one trundle bed, and one queen bed as well as a wall-mounted flat-screen TV, is the perfect place for children to vacation together. The room has its own bathroom with a shower. The queen bedroom and the second king bedroom share a hall bathroom with double sinks and a shower. Each of these rooms also has a wall-mounted flat-screen TV. The media room features a 70 inch wall-mounted flat-screen TV, sleeper sofa, wine cooler, and access to a deck overlooking the pool. The room has a pocket door which may be closed for privacy. Just outside the media room is a bathroom with a shower.

The home is beautiful from top to bottom. Venture outside and the beauty continues. The back deck, offering a dining area as well as lounge chairs, invites you to sit back and unwind. The pool will provide hours of outdoor enjoyment.

The home is equipped with washer, dryer, and high-speed wireless internet.

The spa can be heated for $75/day.
This pool has a gas heater, so the pool may be heated in cooler months for $75/per day for the entire stay. It can take 24-48 hours for the pool water to reach the optimal temperature of 85-87 degrees. When the air temperature falls below 55 degrees, typically November-March, pool heaters have difficulty achieving the optimal temperature. In this case, pool heating will not be available.

Please note that this property has an exterior security camera that views the home's front entrance. This camera serves to protect both the property owner and rental guests.

Guest reservations of 3 to 21 nights come with a valuable credit to use towards beach gear rentals during your stay! The credit amount for this property is $300. You may use your credit for bicycles, beach chairs and umbrellas, beach carts, kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, and more – the choice is yours!

RESERVATION PROCESS: Your reservation is not confirmed until you return the Akers Ellis Rental Agreement. This document will be sent to you via email within a few hours of making your reservation. You need to review and electronically fill out, sign, and submit the agreement within 24 hours. Once returned, Akers Ellis will collect payment and send you a reservation confirmation via email.

Even with the rainy weather we had a wonderful stay in this lovely home. The pool and hot tub were a main attraction as well as the short walk or bike ride to the beach. The rental company was top notch and so helpful - making sure everything was taken care of before and during our stay and quickly responding to any questions we might have. We had a lovely multi-generational vacation there and would definitely return!

We are a family of 5. We loved the house - very clean and check in was easy. Bathrooms were really nice. The master bathroom has a rain and steam shower. The kitchen was well stocked with supplies. As far as location- we could easily bike or walk to the beach; we could also bike into Town (the 5.5 miles to Freshfield Center was easy). Overall a great place to stay!

Absolutely loved this beach house at Kiawah!!! House is thoughtfully laid out and furnished/ decorated beautifully. All the bedrooms were comfortable, well furnished and spacey. Kitchen was a dream to cook in. Loved the pool to plunge in after a day at the beach. Great location to get to the beach, golf and bike trails. We could not have loved our stay more. This house has it all! Would love to return some day!

We rented for a month during the winter. The home was beautiful and within a 3 block walk to the beach. It had all the equipment a family could possibly imagine: bikes, beach toys to puzzles. We enjoyed the hot tub and comfortable furnishings- sophisticated yet island vibe!

A great place to stay!

This home has it all! This was our second time to stay at this property and there are many things we love about it: it's clean; it's beautiful, inside and out; it's large enough to accommodate our family and/or group of friends; it's well furnished; the beds are comfy (although I'd suggest adding 1 to 2 more King beds in the upstairs bedrooms without them); and the outdoor deck/pool/hot tub are a great place to hang out when not at the beach. Plus it is in close proximity to the beach...just a short 5 minute walk. I highly recommend this property to anyone considering it for their Kiawah visit.

Beautiful Property

The house was lovely and had everything we needed! It was in an amazing location, being only a 5-7 minute walk from the beach. The pool was fantastic to cool down in, after the beach. The only negative was the rug in the living room. It was esthetically pleasing but very uncomfortable to walk on. This property was truly lovely and we had an amazing vacation!

Getaway for it all

Long time kiawah vacationers. First time home rental. Home was updated and very nicely furnished. Extremely clean and updated decor. Nicest house / condo we have rented in the island. Akers company provided everything as promised and it’s only a 5 minute ride to beach access. Nice and quiet behind the gate.

AMAZING HOUSE

The house was beyond our expectations, the photographs don't do it justice. We have high standards and this house met all of them along with the customer service of Akers Ellis. We wish certain things were supplied, but it was not a big deal. I would return to this house in the future.

Wonderful Family Home on Kiawah Island

We absolutely LOVED this house! It was well-appointed and plenty of room for our family of 5 to relax and to even host others. The view of the golf course if beautiful and the pool on the back deck was just the right size to relax in after a day on the beach. The ride or walk to the beach was no more than a few minutes. We had a great experience with Akers Ellis and we can't wait to come back!

Great place for a family reunion

This house was perfect for our family of 10 to stay and have other family members staying nearby join us for dinners and other activities. Our four grandchildren loved sharing the "bunk room." Although we enjoyed using the pool and hot tub, the huge additional charge to heat them was excessive on top of an expensive rental.

Beautiful Kiawah Island Home Rental

We enjoyed this property for three weeks this year after renting for one week last year. It is well appointed and is a gorgeous home. Functions great for families and multiple children. Property has a great pool, comfortable beds, nice appliances, garage storage, and even a great house surround sound music system. PERFECT VACATION

Our family of 10 (children and grand children) stayed at 165 Surfsong. I could write a novel about our stay, but suffice it to say we loved our vacation. Beach in the morning, pool in the afternoon, mixed with biking adventures. We could sit all 10 at the table for meals which was great. There was space for everyone to be together or split into small groups. My wife loved the kitchen where she found everything for all our meals. There were plenty of beach toys. The home is beautifully decorated and room for all of our family. The elevator was great for unloading and reloading all the luggage and for groceries. Our family is anxious to reserve this home for our next summer vacation. I gave the stay 5 stars, but it is clearly a 10. We appreciated all the assistance from Akers Ellis.

Summer Vacation

40th Anniversary Family Trip

Our family of 14 (7 adults and 7 kids) stayed a week to celebrate my parents 40th wedding anniversary. The house was amazing!! There was plenty of room for everyone and no one felt like they were on top of each other. The bathrooms had plenty of towels and some small startup shampoos, etc. There were some beach towels available also for use at the pool. The pool was small but our 7 kids didn't seem to mind at all. In the garage there were some boogie boards, chairs and beach toys. The beach is just a short (5 minute) walk around the corner. The pier heads straight out to a very private area. It was not busy at all. We even got to witness a sea turtle come to shore to lay her eggs one evening while crabbing. We rented bikes during our stay and enjoyed the trails around the island. We would recommend Captian Jacks dolphin tour. The whole family had a great time. The house was beautiful and in a great location. We would stay here again!!

Memorial Day Week at the Beach

165 Surfsong is a great house. Modern, clean, elegant, well appointed. The main living area, hot tub and pool area and kitchen are fantastic. The master suite is spacious and tastefully done. The upstairs bedrooms / bunkroom were great for kids, but beware that there isn't a second "junior master" suite. We had a minor issue with the propane for the gas stove running out... Akers Ellis (management company) handled it quickly and effectively.

Family Getaway

This was one of the best vacation rental experiences our family has every had. We travel twice a year all over the country and this was by far the best house we have ever stayed at. Our overall experience was a 5. The agency responded quickly to our questions. One thing we did want to bring to your attention was that the toilet in the master bath wobbled a bit.

Summer Vacation

Great week. This house is amazing! On the golf course. Very impressed with the modern audio system using the mounted IPad. Very spacious and stocked with all of the conveniences of home. Our family of five had more than enough room. Beach is a short bike ride or 5-10 minute walk. The only insight I would add is that (naturally) the pool is smaller than the pictures make it look!
