In accordance with the Town of Kiawah Island Short Term Rental Ordinance, all guests understand that the approved number of bedrooms is 5, the maximum allowed occupancy is 12, and the maximum allowed number of vehicles is 4.

As of October 2024, there is a new house being constructed in close proximity. We do not have the project details or timeline, and current rates are reflective of this information.

Renovated in 2023, this Kiawah Island vacation rental offers a fabulous outdoor living space with a pool, spa, and summer kitchen, views through the cedars to Kildeer Pond, and elegant details throughout the interior. The home is a 10-minute bike ride to the beach and is adjacent to a winding nature trail.

This home will have a newly renovated kitchen, pantry and laundry room, and primary bathroom for 2025. Images will be updated when available.

Step into this fabulously renovated home and you will immediately be impressed. To your left, you will find an inviting den with polished wood paneling, a TV, and comfortable seating. To your right, there is another living area with a TV and an L-shaped sofa. The main living area is straight ahead. This space offers a large sectional sofa and TV, has large, glass sliding doors that lead out to the pool deck, and is open to the kitchen and dining area.

The gourmet kitchen showcases granite counters, a large island, a Sub-Zero refrigerator, an under-cabinet wine cooler, a Wolf range, and a Thermador oven and microwave. The roomy pantry and laundry room are adjacent to the kitchen. The laundry area has an extra dishwasher for your convenience. A powder room is also found on this level.

The primary bedroom is located on the main floor and offers a king-sized bed and a large private bathroom with two vanities, a shower, and a soaking tub. Upstairs, you will find the remaining four bedrooms, each with TVs and attached bathrooms with walk-in showers. Three of the bedrooms have king-sized beds and one bedroom has two twin beds.

Upstairs you will also find yet another living area, which is complete with a coffee bar, an additional full bathroom, a second-story deck, and a custom kid’s area.

The home’s outdoor space is one-of-a-kind. Complete with a large pool, spa, plenty of lounge seating, a true outdoor kitchen, and peeks of Kildeer Pond, you may never want to leave. The pool deck also features a cabana with a full bathroom.

Other highlights include an elevator, Sonos speakers throughout, a foosball table, and a Ping Pong table.

The home is equipped with washer, dryer, and high-speed wireless internet.

The pool has a gas heater, so the pool may be heated in cooler months for an additional fee of $75 per day for the entire stay. It can take 24-48 hours for the pool water to reach the optimal temperature of 85-87 degrees. When the air temperature falls below 55 degrees, typically November-March, pool heaters have difficulty achieving the optimal temperature. In this case, pool heating will not be available. The spa can be heated for an additional fee of $75 per day for the entire stay. Contact us directly to add spa heating to your reservation.

Guest reservations of 3 to 21 nights come with a valuable credit to use towards beach gear rentals during your stay! The credit amount for this property is $400. You may use your credit for bicycles, beach chairs and umbrellas, beach carts, kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, and more – the choice is yours!

During your stay on Kiawah Island, be sure to enjoy biking on the 30 miles of flat bike trails, golfing on one of five world-class courses, playing tennis, crabbing, fishing, swimming, and boating. Many families also enjoy the kids’ camp and nature programs at Night Heron Park.

Kiawah Island is about 40 minutes from historic Charleston, famous for incredible shopping, galleries, antique stores, museums, the South Carolina Aquarium, horse-drawn carriage rides, historic landmarks, and sumptuous dining.

We will definitely stay here again

Beautifully renovated since we last stayed here, it was a great reunion location for the family. The two rooms at the front of the house were great for those who had to do a little work during their vacation, and the living area upstairs was a great addition. The pool and spa were enjoyed by all. Akers Ellis immediately responded to the one small problem we had. We will definitely stay here again.

Absolutely superb

Fall Break Fun

Our family has been coming to Kiawah for many years now. I have personally been coming for almost 40 years and this is the first time I have stayed on this part of the island. We loved Preserve and biking around the marshes and seeing all the beautiful wildlife. The house was great for our family. We loved the pool and spa. We cooked at the house a few nights and had what we needed. I would describe the kitchen as the best stocked kitchen but wasn’t the worst. My kids loved the ping pong table in the garage. The bike ride to the beach was about 5 minutes. We would definitely consider staying at 113 Blue Heron again.

Lovely home!

Staying here was a dream! Anytime we had even a minor issue the rental company was quick to respond and even send someone over (literally within 20 minutes sometimes). The home is stunning and well furnished. We particularly enjoyed the ping pong table and hot tub. Would definitely visit again and recommend to others!

Akers Ellis Kiawah Island Rentals are the best!

We have rented the same property from AKERS ELLIS for several yrs during Christmas. We will continue to rent from them forever & ever. Our family has grown from parents with 2 children, parents with two married children, now parents with grandchildren. All 3 generations can’t imagine the holidays without renting this home on Kiawah Island from Akers Ellis.

Beautiful, Comfortable, and Peaceful

We have been coming every year to Kiawah for about 15 years, and this is perhaps the nicest place we have stayed. It is not only beautiful, it is also comfortable and peaceful. Women's Retreat

What a beautiful, spacious and fabulous home to experience for our Women's Retreat! Everyone was extremely happy with this home and said that I picked "a winner!" The elevator was a HUGE bonus to have in a house where some of the ladies had knee and hip conditions. The spacious kitchen and dining area was perfect for meals and fellowship at the 10-seat table. The atmosphere and surroundings of the entire street gave us a true sense of being away from home. The property management and staff were extremely helpful and prompt with all of our requests. 3rd Annual Girl's Kiawah Tennis Weekend

Wonderful Trip

We had a wonderful week at this rental. Despite the couple of rainy days, the house had plenty to do when the weather didn't cooperate with beach or golf plans. We rented bikes which made trips around the island very easy. (It was about 2.5 miles to the beach.) The house is on a quiet street and it was wonderfully peaceful.
The house is well maintained and spacious.

Loved this home

We had a fun girls week in Kiawah. This house was beautiful. Great quiet location, state of the art kitchen, loved the pool and hot tub and the fact that there was a full bath with shower in the pool house. We were also happy there was an elevator to get our luggage upstairs. We were also extremely with the rental company, Akers Ellis.

Wonderful home, Wonderful vacation!

This was really a perfect home for our vacation. It comfortably held 3 families with 2 children each. The pool was a hit - just perfect! And we spent a lot of time on the screened in porch as well. The home was clean and spacious. The only suggestion that I have is that the water for showers/baths wasn't that warm. It seems like the hot water heater needed to be adjusted. But that was a minor issue. We had a fantastic time!

Fantastic Home, Service, and Vacation!

We have been to Kiawah Island every summer for the past 5 years. Last year we rented from another agency because we waited too late and your agency didn't have the right size rental for our dates. What a mistake that was! No one beats Akers Ellis. This year's vacation was the best yet. In fact, we had so much fun that we are looking right now for another rental for the end of the summer.

Great Property

We loved the house. A great layout, plenty of space and a wonderful kitchen. The outdoor living area, deck and pool were great too - in fact we spent most times outside .Organization was perfect and I really liked that the bikes were already at the house when we arrived.

Iowa State Reunion

Thanks again Akers&Ellis! Another fabulous vacation. This home was perfect for our 9 visitors. Couldn't have been more comfortable with plenty of room and a kitchen with every possible amenity. The pool & hottub were used
