Raised in Charleston, South Carolina, Lauren Deaton possesses a deep understanding of the local community and a broader outlook from her diverse experiences. She honed her skills by studying Business Marketing and Entrepreneurship at the University of Mississippi. She furthered her education by obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Business Marketing from the College of Charleston.

With roots in Charleston and a background in construction, Lauren's interest in real estate was sparked early on. Combining her marketing expertise with her passion for the industry, she joined the Akers Ellis team in 2024.
