Specializing in residential real estate on Johns Island, Seabrook Island, Kiawah Island, as well as the greater Charleston area, Cathy along with her husband, Wes, are experienced Realtors® working as a full-time, full-service real estate team. With personal experience in the buying and selling process, renovating homes, and as Realtors® representing others, Cathy and Wes offer a unique perspective for serving a wide variety of buyers and sellers, striving to offer more to their clients through hard work and determination. Wes’ high energy and ability to relate to just about anyone paired with Cathy’s background in advertising and marketing offers a balance of assets, experience, and skills. Enthusiastic entrepreneurs, together they have operated businesses in Florida and North Carolina for over 30 years. In addition to ably assisting their real estate clients, the two have rented, developed, bought, renovated, and sold properties for their own investment since 1997, around the time they started coming to the Carolinas from Marco Island, FL, for family vacations.
Cathy grew up in Barrington Hills, northwest of Chicago. She has a degree in advertising and enjoys exploring the dining scene, travel, photography, as well as outdoor pursuits like hiking, and boating. Married since 1994, Cathy and Wes have two adult children, both graduates of Wofford College in Spartanburg, SC, and Hendersonville High School in Hendersonville, NC. They have one dog, a German Shepherd named Dallas, and two Doodle "grand puppies," all loveable and quirky members of their family who love chasing squirrels and digging up rocks! While Cathy previously has lived in Barrington Hills, IL, Fort Myers, Naples, and Marco Island, FL, and Hendersonville and Flat Rock, NC, she and Wes now consider their hometowns to be Johns Island, SC, and Lake Lure, NC.
