Description

This Kiawah Island vacation rental features 3 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms, seasonal community pool access, and a quick 7-minute walk to the beach. In 2022, the home received a variety of updates, including new interior paint, new furniture for the side deck, and new decking for the front porch, stairs, and side deck.

The semi-detached home exudes Southern charm with its double front porches, soothing color palette, coastal casual furnishings, and hardwood floors. The open and airy main floor allows easy flow between the living room, kitchen, and dining area. The living room offers comfortable seating, a large wall-mounted flat-screen TV, and access to the side deck. The dining area is open to the kitchen, featuring a long table with chairs and a bench seat. The light and bright kitchen is highlighted by white cabinetry, marble countertops, stainless steel appliances, a farmhouse apron sink, glass tile backsplash, and an island with bar stool seating.

The primary suite is located on the main floor and offers a king-sized bed, wall-mounted flat-screen TV, and private bathroom with double sinks and separate bathtub and shower. Two additional bedrooms and bathrooms occupy the second floor. The first bedroom features two queen beds, wall-mounted flat-screen TV, and private bathroom with double sinks and separate bathtub and shower. Another bedroom offers one queen bed and twin-XL bed, wall-mounted flat-screen TV, and bathroom with shower.

A mini-retreat itself, the side deck features a grill and outdoor sofas. The ground-level garage features a Ping Pong table.

The home is equipped with washer, dryer, and high-speed wireless internet.

Guests have access to the Ocean Green community pool. This pool is unheated and open seasonally.

Guest reservations of 3 to 21 nights come with a valuable credit to use towards beach gear rentals during your stay! The credit amount for this property is $250. You may use your credit for bicycles, beach chairs and umbrellas, beach carts, kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, and more – the choice is yours!

During your stay on Kiawah Island, be sure to enjoy biking on the 30 miles of flat bike trails, golfing on one of five world-class courses, playing tennis, crabbing, fishing, swimming, and boating. Many families also enjoy the kids’ camp and nature programs at Night Heron Park.

Kiawah Island is about 40 minutes from historic Charleston, famous for incredible shopping, galleries, antique stores, museums, the South Carolina Aquarium, horse-drawn carriage rides, historic landmarks, and sumptuous dining.

RESERVATION PROCESS: Your reservation is not confirmed until you return the Akers Ellis Rental Agreement. This document will be sent to you via email within a few hours of making your reservation. You need to review and electronically fill out, sign, and submit the agreement within 24 hours. Once returned, Akers Ellis will collect payment and send you a reservation confirmation via email.

The rental house was more than we expected. Most comfortable, very clean and well stocked with kitchen , bathroom, bedroom necessities. AC/Heating, TVs all performed extremely well. Easily recommend to other guests and gladly return.

Wonderfull holiday at 16 Ocean Green Drive

We spent Christmas at 16 Ocean Green Drive. The home was immaculate. Location perfect for a short walk to the beach. Every dish, pot, pan, supplies needed to cook,(should you want to cook) wash and enjoy were at our fingertips. I highly recommend this property and plan on renting this lovely home again next Christmas.

Wonderful Vacation Home on Kiawah Island

We enjoyed our stay at 16 Ocean Green on Kiawah Island. The home was lovely and the location was great. It was a short bike to the beach and the community pool was a short walk. This was an ideal for our family, since we have small children that enjoy having a pool. The house was ideal with 3 bedrooms and each bedroom having its own bathroom. Akers- Ellis was very responsive to issues that arose during our stay. The company also helped with obtaining bikes and gear for our stay. Biking is one of our favorite activities on the island. We love Kiawah- we have been coming regularly for over 30 years. Would definitely consider renting this home again for our future trips!

Great House!

The house is better than it appears in the photos! Plenty of room for a group vacation. We did a ladies getaway and everyone thought the house was amazing. Home is well decorated and didn’t feel like a rental. Kitchen is large and easy to cook in. Out door space was nicely furnished. Bathrooms are lovely. We rented bikes to get to the beach - it takes about 4 minutes to bike to board walk 29. Great location!

Re-opening Kiawah stay

Very enjoyable and very satisfied, would stay here again. Inside very clean and confident it was properly sanitized. Only complaint was outside decks and furniture covered with dirt and leaves and I had to wash off seat cushions before we could even sit on them. Location convenient: next to community pool (good size like an apartment building and not crowded), about 10 min walk to beach. Will need cart to get stuff to beach if have children. Bring beach towels. Beaches wonderful, leisure bike riding great, ate dinners in and kitchen well supplied dishes, utensils, pots and pans, etc. Harris-Teeter grocery as come onto island about 15 minutes away. Beds comfortable, the AC units sit outside master bedroom window if a light sleeper. Has washer/dryer, plenty of towels. Watch for last minute email from Akers for car pass or cannot enter, we had left home and missed ours.

Comfortable Rental

Really enjoyed our time on Ocean Green. It was close to the beach, clean inside and a comfortable house. A couple things.. all the outdoor furniture was too dirty to use, the dryer was loud and in need of repair as it didn't dry things well, no water pressure in the downstairs bathtub (but the shower water pressure was great!).

Great stay in Kiawah!

We rented the house for 4 nights for a wedding and we all enjoyed the house very much. The kitchen is well stocked although we only cooked in 1 night. We loved the bike rentals which we used a lot. The beach was a short walk away and what a beautiful beach!

Spring Break Trip

Home was a classic Charleston style home. Great furnishings, comfortable and family friendly. Home was a 5 min bike ride to the beach in a quiet area of Kiawah. Very clean and shows very well. Will be back to Kiawah and this house for sure again.

Great family location!

A great time was had by everyone. A GREAT Family Home! There were three families staying at 16 Ocean Green and the age range was 63 - 8 years old. I can't say enough good things about Akers-Eliis. There were only a couple of minor issues but they were so attentive and quick to respond!

A wonderful Retreat

This place had it all!! The location was superb! It's an easy walk to the beach with my 5 year old and 2 year old in tow. The town center was a quick bike ride away so we could get the daily newspaper. I can't wait to return!

Great Family Get Away

We had an outstanding trip to Kiawah in April. The house was modern, clean, spacious - and had all of the amenities we needed. Our children LOVED the bunk beds. The shower in the master bath was so good I now want one in our home just like it!It was chilly when we were there, but the kids enjoyed swimming in the pool and we spent a lot of time exploring the island on all of its many bike trails. Akers Ellis made everything very easy (love the app) and we can't wait to come back!

Wonderful Vacation on Kiawah Island!

We had a fantastic time at 16 Ocean Green! The home is beautifully decorated and well appointed with everything you would ever need! We traveled with 5 children ranging in age from 4-13 years old and usually look for homes on the water! But, this home ended up being the perfect location for our family! A quiet neighborhood with a short walk/bike ride to the beach! Everyone enjoyed riding bicycles along the many bike paths on the island! In this locations, everyone was able to bike to the Ocean course for lunch as well as Fresh Fields! We would 150% book this home again for next year! Truly a 5 Star Rating!

Nice Home - Good Location

I discovered Kiawah during a business conference in the early eighties For each year for for close to 20 years I have been bringing my family to Kiawah.

Beautiful house in a perfect location

We traveled to Kiawah for a summer family vacation. The house is very well-kept and has most amenities that would be needed for a family. The grill was a bonus, ping pong table, more than enough beds and bathrooms for a family (and friends), two steps from the community pool, and an easy quick bike ride to the beach. The house was clean and ready for us to stay. The only items that I thought would have been helpful (where most properties do have...but these are usually left behind from others) are beach chairs, umbrella and a bike cart. But, again, these would be a bonus if they were included with the house! This has been our second year of using Akers Ellis and we have been very pleased with their customer service, well-kept properties and their quick response rate.

Terrific Vacation!

Our family had a wonderful vacation. The property was beautiful! Only complaint was we couldn't use the main pool with the water slide. We offered to pay for the week. But, were not allowed. My grandchildren were very disappointed. Other then that, we had a wonderful time. We will definitely return.

Lovely home close to beach

Beautiful home and surroundings. Accommodated our family of 5 perfectly. The kids loved the little room tucked away in what we thought was a closet. Named it the "Kids only room." Would definitely recommend this 3 bedroom home...that sleeps as many as 7 people!

Home away from home ~ Relax and enjoy when you're away.
